Lord Jesus,
keep us vigilant
until history’s final hour.
With love, may our prayer watch
over the little ones and the innocent,
over the weak and defenseless,
over those who begin life’s journey and
over those whose life has come to an end.
We all place ourselves under your gaze as the Shepherd
whose large eyes always watch over the flock
spread throughout the whole earth,
to gather it in the fold of Heaven,
in the bosom of the eternal Father.
