The Island of St. Giulio

Placid
like a small ship
anchored
off the Cusiana coast,
the island of silence
smiles at the sky
that kisses its forehead.
And it's evening
and it's morning:
a continuous awakening
to life, to song,
in the ecstatic light
of Love.
